MiLan Metis
Healing Art Project
The MiLan Métis Healing Art Project-MMHAP
is a modern approach to a ritual carried on for centuries
by human beings. MMHAP's ritual includes the calcium
shells that protected life in the English Bay region
at the Pacific Ocean, the driftwood that has drifted
in that Ocean for an indefinite period, to freshly
blasted Granite high up in the mountains near Whistler,
British Columbia, along the Sea to Sky Highway. The
Eight Cardinal Points of the Earth are represented
by Natural Fire, and Water is honored as well in most
of the MMHAP pieces.

The Michif Métis Museum is introducing a new Internet
Radio Program at BBS Radio - www.bbsradio.com.
Métis Voices Radio is a one hour program now happening
every Friday evening, at 7:55 PST, hosted by Dale Haggerty.
For your listening enjoyment, we would like to extend
an invitation to you and your friends to tune in to our
Cultural, all Métis program, featuring a variety of special
guests each week talking about Métis history and many
other Métis programming. We will also be opening call-in
lines as well as a chat feature for your questions and
for you to input your comments….

As a rule meetings are the second Tuesday of every month.

All members of the Vancouver Métis Community Association are welcome and encouraged to attend board meetings, but we do ask that you call the office ahead of the meeting to let us know you are coming, as well to confirm that the date, start time and location are the same as presented on this site.
